COVID-19 protocols

The following adjustments have been made to keep us all safe and create a stress-free environment for your session:

updated as of July 5, 2024

  • Updated COVID-19 vaccination required for all IMEB* staff and clients.**

  • Certified N95 or KN95 grade respirators are mandatory for IMEB clients and staff throughout the entire session. A KN95 mask will be provided if you need one

  • IMEB staff test regularly based on their current risk level, likely exposure, and local transmission rates

  • Hand sanitizer provided

  • Remote payment available if preferred, to minimize time spent in the common areas

  • Indoor spaces are continuously ventilated in order to simulate outdoor air conditions using fans and open windows. Over the course of a 90 minute session, with two people in the room and open window(s), the treatment rooms maintain a CO2 reading of 600-700 ppm, as measured by Aranet CO2 monitors. In the event of harmful smoke levels, the windows will be shut and there will be a HEPA air filter running in each room.

  • There will be a minimum of a 15 minute period in between each session in order for the treatment room to air out.

  • Clients may wait indoors or outdoors if they arrive early. In most cases there will not be more than one person in the waiting areas.

IMEB is committed to maintaining an ongoing assessment of these precautions in order to maximize safety, informed by our continuously evolving understanding of COVID-19 and other transmissible illnesses.

*Please note that this is a shared clinic and while other providers (non-IMEB) and their clients are required to wear face coverings in the common spaces, they may not be wearing (K)N95 grade masks.

**In order to be considered fully vaccinated you must have gotten the most recent updated vaccine that is available to you. Exceptions may be made for clients with a verified medical exemption.
